when people ask what we do , the simple answer is that we raise dachshunds. But the truth is , it's so much more than that.

Our journey began with a deep love for the breed and desire to raise happy, healthy puppies that would become cherished members of their future families. Every litter is raised right here in our home , surrounded by love , daily interactions , and the sounds of family life.

From the moment a puppy is born, we are there for every milestone. We celebrate their first squeaks , their first wobbly steps , and the day their little personalities begin to shine. countless hours spent cleaning , socializing , cuddling , and ensuring each puppy receives the best possible start in life .

As a family-oriented breeder, The Barefield Doxies focuses on much more than just producing puppies. Our goal is to carefully raise mini dachsunds  that are well-socialized companions with excellent temperaments, sound health, and the confidence to thrive in their new homes. We health test our parents and work hard to make responsible breeding decisions that benefit the future of the breed we love so much.
